Yunatech is proud to be supporting Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) and we will share more details as they are confirmed, in the meantime here is a short summary of their amazing work.
About Essex & Herts Air Ambulance
Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT), unlike NHS emergency services, is a charity providing a free lifesaving Helicopter Emergency Medical Service (HEMS) for the critically ill and injured of Essex, Hertfordshire and surrounding areas. Each Critical Care Team now consists of two Pilots, a Pre-hospital Care Doctor and a Critical Care Paramedic who can be rushed to the scene of an incident with life-saving support equipment, to deliver advanced clinical care that is normally only found in the hospital emergency department. Once stabilised, the patient will be conveyed by air or land to the most appropriate hospital for their needs. Without access to National Lottery funding and with only limited support from the Government, they rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to
remain operational and keep saving lives.
Why Yunatech Has Chosen To Support Essex and Herts Air Ambulance
Joe Barry, Yunatech Service Director, said “We are proud to be supporting Essex & Herts Air Ambulance, personally my family was lucky enough to have their support when we needed it, and by Yunatech becoming a corporate sponsor we can play our small part in ensuring the air ambulance is able to help other families in Essex and Hertfordshire should they need it.”
Warwick Phipps, Yunatech Techincal Director, said “On our recent visit to Essex & Herts Air Ambulance airbase, we were truly humbled to meet the team and hear stories of their critical life-saving work. The air ambulance continues to rely upon the generosity and goodwill of the people and businesses of Essex and Hertfordshire to remain operational and keep saving lives. They are an amazing team of people, doing amazing work.”
